Developed by NVIDIA, GeForce Now is the company’s cloud gaming service. It was launched in 2015 and has been going on strong ever since. It provides users the ability to stream video games on their devices from a vast collection.
In March last year, GeForce Now updated their membership options and now includes a Free and Priority membership. The Priority membership enables players to play a game for a longer time as opposed to the one-hour free session.
Having said that, players can also enjoy games that they have purchased on third-party launchers such as Origin, Steam, and Ubisoft Connect.
But according to recent reports (1,2,3,4,5), GeForce Now subscribers are getting a ‘This product cannot be activated, please try again later’ error message when trying to launch games on Ubisoft Connect.
Users said they tried unlinking and relinking Ubisoft Account with GeForce Now but the issue still persists. Reports suggest that the problem is affecting multiple games such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Rainbow Six Extraction.

Hello Support. I have this problem since noon and it is not solved, first I have blamed it on the servers but then I do not know where to blame it. This morning I’ve been playing until lunchtime (Europe) and in the afternoon if that has given me the same problem but in the end has entered until I had to go out to run some errands at about 19:00 here, since then I get the famous message that I left in the title of the topic. So it is a problem of servers, services or other yours, so I need a solution.
Hey guys, wondering if anyone else have the same issue as me. Yesterday all went fine I was playing without any problems, and since 11 PM the game didn`t want to start anymore. When I launch the game the error with Unable to start the game ” This product cannot be activated right now, please try again later” started to appear. Is there any fix for this? Thanks.
Fortunately, Ubisoft has acknowledged the issue and said they are working on it. However, there is no ETA on when it will be fixed.

While Ubisoft and NVIDIA are yet to find out the root cause of the issue, a user has shared a plausible explanation that might help understand as to why many users are getting the error.
They say that the account sharing only allows 5 machines to play a game in 24 hours, which is one hour per rig on GeForce Now.
